The trail drops from the heights of Dana Nature Reserve plateaus to Wadi Araba Valley and climbs back again, crossing several climate zones, diverse ecosystems, hidden canyons, and dramatic labyrinths of hills and valleys before ending in the Nabataean masterpiece Petra.
